The Alba Earth Market was inaugurated on March 21, 2010. It is held every Saturday in Piazza Pertinace from 9 am until 2 pm with around 30 producers participating with their own stall.

Like all the markets in the network, a large variety of products available characterize the Alba Earth Market: In particular raw milk cheese, wine, preserves and traditional products, honey and other hive products, fresh fruit and vegetables, sourdough breads, cured meats, and even ostrich meat.

Many of the producers are of a young age, and all committed to sustainable food production - something that distinguishes and unites those who participate in good, clean and fair markets. Producers come from the area around Alba, a Comune of around 30 thousand inhabitants within the Province of Cuneo including Alta Langa, Roero and Langhe doglianesi.
The market is organized by the Comune of Alba in collaboration with the Region of Piedmont, Slow Food Alba Langhe and Roero, Federazione Provinciale Coltivatori Diretti, Unione Provinciale Agricoltori, Confederazione Italiana Agricoltori, Comitato Quartiere San Giovanni and Associazione dei Consumatori Gruppo Acquisto Solidale.
