Earth Markets | Not just another market
The market Meet the producers Calendar and

Colorno is a small town in the heart of Parma's "Food Valley", which boasts an array of fantastic food products. The Colorno Earth Market opened on December 12, 2010 and is held every second Sunday in a courtyard of the beautiful, recently renovated Colorno Ducal Palace. About 20 local producers coming from within 50 km sell products such as preserves, honey, wine, vegetables and cured meats. Visitors can of course also be sure to find Parmigiano Reggiano and ham from the Slow Food Zibello Culatello Presidium.

For Colorno, which belongs to the Association of Virtuous Muncipalities, the Earth Market is one of a wide range of initiatives and programs organized in recent years to promote awareness of reducing our ecological footprint, focusing on a short food supply chain, moderation and the impact of our daily consumption behaviors.

The Earth Market is organized by the Slow Food Parma Convivium together with the Colorno local authority and the Parma Regional Authority, in collaboration with the Italian Confederation of Farmers (CIA), the Provincial Union of Artisans (UPA) and the Colorno Tourist Office.
